French 75


    50ml brandy

    25ml lemon juice, lemon peel

    1 tablespoon sugar syrup

    chilled champagne

    6 cracked ice cubes

    Pour the brandy, lemon juice and sugar syrup over the ice in a cocktail shaker.
    Shake well.  Strain into a chilled tumbler and top up with champagne.
    Decorate with a twist of lemon.
