Hi there! Welcome to Virtual-Tipple.co.uk - the website dedicated to the amateur mixologist.
This site is predominantly concerned with home-made concoctions such as cocktails and
punch. We shall also be featuring the commercial drinks and equipment which no home bar
should be without, i.e. those which form the 'core ingredients' of many cocktails.

Within these pages you will find recipes for classic and modern cocktails as well as punch,
sangria and liqueur coffees. You will also find some interesting background information on
alcoholic drinks and their history. It is our aim to tell you everything you ever forgot you wanted
to know about alcohol, it's origin, it's history and how to practice the art of mixology.

This site is for the use of persons of legal drinking age (18 or over
in the UK). The author wishes to encourage 'sensible' drinking.
